Lisa currently serves the Auburn Service Unit of the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama as the treasurer. The Girl Scouts mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place! It is the leadership training ground for girls and volunteers.
Lisa also is a member of the Auburn High School Finance Program Advisory Committee. The Auburn High School Finance Program Advisory Committee serves DECA and the local chapter. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Amelia currently serves on the Women's Hope Medical Clinic, Inc. Board of Directors. The Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides confidential medical care and educational classes to assist young women facing an unplanned pregnancy, as well as STD/STI testing and post-abortion counseling and support. Women's Hope is located in Auburn, Alabama and serves clients throughout Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding areas.
Amelia is a recent graduate of Leadership Lee County. Leadership Lee County is a program sponsored by the Auburn and Opelika Chambers of Commerce. It seeks out, honors, educates, challenges, and develops a select group of leaders who live or work in Lee County and have the potential to provide the leadership needed to solve problems of the community and statewide significance. The purpose of the program is to identify, develop and inspire future leaders through professional development, educational opportunities, and community involvement.
