What’s New at Machen McChesney - January 2018

New Staff Members:

Chris Earnest

Chris Earnest joined Machen McChesney as a business services consultant in January 2018. Chris works with business and individual clients with a focus on accounts payable, payroll tax returns, and sales and use tax, as well as ledger data entry. Chris is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Forestry and a B.S. in Accounting.

Tracey Strickland

Tracey Strickland joined Machen McChesney as a senior accountant in January 2018. Tracey specializes in corporate and individual taxation as well as estates and trusts. Her areas of expertise includes franchise reporting, state and local tax compliance, payroll tax compliance, healthcare, professional services, and restaurants. Tracey is a graduate of Columbus State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting.

Hayley Walters

Hayley Walters joined Machen McChesney as the receptionist in January 2018. Her primary responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, incoming and outgoing correspondence, executing the administrative functions of the firm processes, inventory supply and control, and providing office support to the staff.

Catherine McCown

Catherine McCown joined Machen McChesney as a business service consultant February 2018. Her primary responsibilities will be working with business and individual clients with a focus on accounts payable, payroll tax returns, and sales and use tax, as well as ledger data entry. Catherine has a Master's in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery and a B.S. in business Administration from Auburn University.
