What’s New at Machen McChesney - February 2018

New Staff Members:

Melissa Davis, CPA

Melissa Davis joined Machen McChesney as a tax senior in February 2018. Melissa specializes in tax for businesses and partnerships. Melissa has 6 years of experience in the accounting industry. Her areas of expertise are in state and local taxes as well as state compliance. Melissa is a graduate of Auburn University with a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting.  

In The Community:

Opelika Chamber announces their Ambassador for the month of January. Our own Crystal Etheredge received that acknowledgment.  Congratulations Crystal, well deserved.

February 16, 2018: Machen McChesney sponsored the fourth annual "Boots and Bow Ties" event: The event benefited The Little HAPIE Tree Preschool in Auburn and the Residential School in Tallassee.

February 17, 2018: Machen McChesney sponsored the OFS Foundation and their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic. The event will take place on March 23, 2018, at the Saugahatchee Country Club.  The 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic supports Mercy Medical Clinic which is a non-profit organization located in Auburn that provides primary care to residents of Lee County who do not have medical insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or VA Benefits.
