What has this scholarship allowed you to pursue, achieve, or overcome?
This scholarship has allowed me to overcome the financial struggles college students experience, and it helps me pursue my goal of completing my degree.
What do you hope to accomplish at Auburn University and beyond?
I plan to finish my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration by May 2023. Then I hope to get accepted into the MAcc program at Auburn and complete it by May 2024. I hope to obtain an internship at an accounting firm or corporate accounting because I want to gain some experience before graduating. I'm not sure what service I want to work in, but I've always found the IRS-Criminal Investigation interesting. So maybe after college, I could attend the law enforcement academy then possibly work for the IRS.
What are your interests outside of the classroom?
My interests include cycling, fitness instructing, spending time outdoors, and volunteering.
