Julie Williams

August 5, 2019, Julie Williams joined Machen McChesney as a business services consultant. Her focus is on business and individuals clients in bookkeeping, sales and use tax, 1099 preparation, ledger data entry, and financial statement compilation. Julie is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Accounting. Julie enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her family.

Jake Miner

August 5, 2019, Jake Miner joined Machen McChesney as a staff accountant. His principal areas will focus on individual taxation. Jake is a graduate of Auburn University with a Masters and a B.S. in Accounting. He enjoys drumming, fishing, gaming, and most other recreational activities with friends.

August 15, 2019: Machen McChesney participated in the Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee. Stephen Taunton and Marshall Brown represented Machen McChesney. The event supports The Lee County Literacy Coalition that supports adult literacy.

Cheering them on was Tracey Strickland, Joe Janning, Hayley Walters, and Mary Beth Litsey.

August 23, 2019: Machen McChesney participated in the 2019 Oral & Facial Surgery Fall Office Compliance Symposium.

August 24, 2019: Machen McChesney is a sponsor for the Gogue Performing Arts Center. Polly and Mike Machen attended the grand opening Fete with Michael Feinstein representing the firm. 

The Machen family supported Gogue Performing Arts Center by donating a seat for Don & Jane Machen as Auburn graduates in 1962 and 1963, respectively.
